    Weaving genres of Folk, Rock, Reggae and Trance, the Bear Bones Band enchants and electrifies audiences with strong lead vocals, rich harmonies, fine heart-centered song-writing and musicianship that will lift your Soul. Original songs and cover tunes reflect a deeply passionate and fun-loving spirit for Life and are arranged to inspire dancing and listening audience members alike.

    Bear Bones is a six piece electric funky rockin’ reggae dance band (with bass, drums, lead and rhythm  guitars, keyboard, flute, alto sax and trumpet).

    The Bear Bones acoustic ensemble can comprise everything from a duet up to a quintet, with acoustic guitar, stand up bass, violin, mandolin and harmony vocals. This versatility allows Bear Bones to fit the desires of any event or venue. This quality is reflected in their CD Honoring Life, released in June of 2005 !

    The group has been playing in various incarnations around Sonoma County for 20 years and includes members from such bands as Ecotonz, Joanne Rand, Biocentrics, and the Ruminators.
